TODD WENZEL
President/CTO/Founder

Todd has architected and built custom enterprise software solutions since the mid-1980s and has been heavily involved in the design and development of manufacturing execution control systems (MES) since 1990. In the early 2000’s he began developing quality management integration control (QMS) components to complement the MES functional requirements of multiple industry verticals. Since 2016, Todd has been actively involved in the design and development of the Bright AM™ solution for Additive Manufacturing production facilities. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.

Since its inception in 2004, Todd has served as President of Throughput Consulting, Inc. (TCI), an enterprise software company headquartered in Wisconsin, that designed, developed, and supports the Bluestreak™ and Bright AM™ MES/QMS solutions. TCI’s flagship software product, Bluestreak™, is the culmination of Mr. Wenzel’s 30+ years of partnering with service-based manufacturing company leaders to provide software solutions that tackle the industry’s most pressing business challenges within their production facilities. Todd is also an accomplished speaker and presenter on multiple IT-related topics.

RON BELTZ
Director, Strategic Accounts

Ron Beltz serves as Throughput | Bluestreak’s™ Director of Strategic Accounts and assists in marketing strategy while managing the sales and business development activities from the company’s Tampa, FL location. Ron is a graduate of Control Data Institute of Technology while receiving additional training from Hewlett Packard, Digital Equipment Corp., and the Dale Carnegie Management Training Series.

Prior to joining Throughput | Bluestreak™, Ron has functioned as Director of IT/CIO for a steel company in Canton, OH, Technical Director for a multinational consulting firm, served as an Engagement Manager over Teams in the U.S., Canada, India, and a nearshore solution center located in Montreal.

 

Ron has assisted many organizations with determining their specific requirements and packaging turnkey solutions that achieve the business/operational goals set forth. Ron has served on several Boards, been invited to present at IT User’s Groups, technical schools, class graduations, and was a previously elected official.

JOE COLEMAN

Joe Coleman comes to us from one of the world’s leading aerospace and additive manufacturing solution providers.  Joe is a detail-driven production and quality management leader with over 35 years of diverse Manufacturing and Engineering experience. Joe’s background includes an exemplary and accomplished career as a Machinist, Machining Manager, Lead Manufacturing Engineer, and onsite Bluestreak | Bright AM™ MES/QMS System Administrator.
 

Joe started his career as a machinist and mold maker advancing to Machining Manager at one of the early Additive Manufacturing (AM) pioneers, Morris Technologies in Cincinnati.  After 8 years with Morris Technologies, Joe transitioned to GE Aviation and its Additive Technology Center (ATC) as Lead Manufacturing Engineer where he trained Aerospace designers and engineers from the individual Part design stage to prototyping and eventually full production of their AM projects.
 

Joe played an integral part in the ATC setup, configuration, and implementation team for Bluestreak’s Additive Manufacturing software, Bright AM™.  In that role, Joe was also responsible for training, mentoring, and managing over 130 Bright AM™ system users while maintaining over 6,000 active production Work Orders, many of which included outside vendor processing services, such as heat treating and surface finishing.
 

Along with training and mentoring new Bright AM customers and users, Joe is also working with our Bluestreak™ team towards achieving DFARS, CMMC, and NIST 800-171 compliance and certification.  The DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) requires compliance with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) SP (special publication) 800-171 security controls and supports CMMC, which is the U.S. Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification for supply chain participation in DoD contracts.

GARY WENZEL
Director, Customer Success

Gary Wenzel joined Throughput | Bluestreak™ in late 2010 after 30 years of progressive leadership, management, and executive experience. Most recently, Gary was the Fiscal Officer for the Village of Hartville, located in NE Ohio. Prior to that, Gary held positions as an IT & Small Business Consultant in Wadsworth Ohio, Business Manager & Officer of the Board for a non-profit organization in Akron Ohio, Executive Sales Engineer for a Fortune 500 company living and working in various states over the years, including; New York, Indiana, Washington and Wisconsin.

Gary is a graduate of Bethel College, graduating with honors and holding a BS degree in Organizational Management. Since coming to Throughput | Bluestreak™ he has served as the Director of Customer Success.

His understanding of service-based companies is shared by only a few people in the industry; from blast operator to purchasing manager to IT Director. Rick has personally managed and implemented three different software packages into an active commercial heat treat shop, as well as countless Bluestreak™ implementations throughout North America. His personal experience and dedication are the perfect recipe for guaranteeing a successful Bluestreak™ implementation into your shop.
 

Rick and his team do not just tell you how a feature works, they explain it in your terms and work shoulder-to-shoulder with you showing how to use each feature to your shop’s best advantage.

Donna Cobbs is an accomplished, results-driven leader with over 20 years of exemplary accomplishments managing global adoption/change initiatives for Fortune 100 and 500 companies. Donna is recognized for creating industry “best practice” solutions, and as an exceptional communicator with the ability to convey complex technical information in user-friendly terms and ready to tackle challenges and solve problems.
 

Her experience includes working within the manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, aerospace and defense, beverages, and pharmaceutical sectors in identifying stakeholder needs, readiness, and risks associated with implementations and the solutions to help achieve optimum adoption of the initiative.
 

Donna championed leading the change management effort for SAP and Oracle implementations; as well as major business process changes not related to software changes.  She has extensive project management and leadership experience supporting various manufacturing and distribution clients through the entire business transformation journey.
